  St. Lucia

St. Lucia is located in the Windward Islands, gained its own government in 1979 and remains to this day a member of the British Commonwealth. St. Lucia also belongs to the United Nations and is a member of Caricom, the regional economic block. Legislation, which was passed in late 1999, is as modern and comprehensive as any other jurisdiction in the world.
