Anguilla is a British Dependent Territory (BDT) in the North-Eastern Caribbean Sea. At the end of 1994, with British Government technical assistance and funding, a package of the most up-to-date corporate and financial legislation was put in place. On January 1, 1995 the new legislation came into force. This was developed with full support of the British Government and resulted in modern and effective legislation.
